Our in situ cleaning equipment is designed for high precision control of critical cleaning parameters. Parameters include the temperature, flow rate and concentration of detergent and water, combined with the time the detergent needs to be in contact with the dirt equipment in order for the equipment to be cleaned. This allows cleaning of equipment to be economical in terms of time spent (thus increasing normal operation time) and to minimize water and electricity consumption. It also protects against potential food safety risks. In situ cleaning can be performed at the end of a process run -- cleaning what we call "normal dirt" -- or when the process is switched from one formulation to another.
